The extremely thick, sharply triangular leaves of Haworthia venosa tessellata feature a smooth surface with a rich grey-green base coloration, offset by a network of web-like ‘windows’ designed to allow sunlight deep into the leaves of the plant. The outstanding patterning, coupled with the row of white teeth around each margin, makes the tightly stacked rosettes of this variety a stand out within any home. Reaching up to 6 inches in diameter, the mature and contented Haworthia venosa tessellata will begin to produce offsets around its base, forming a dense clump of its exceptionally unique foliage.
Despite its exotic aesthetic, Haworthia venosa tessallata could not be easier to care for, and is perfectly suited for beginners! The ‘windows’ across its leaves allow it to thrive in low lighting – though brighter light will cause the plant to flush a warm magenta hue! Beyond this, its needs are quite simple, with a porous soil mix, a well-draining pot, and a thorough but infrequent watering routine providing all that is needed for success with this eye-catching variety.
Hardy only to Zone 9, be sure to shield Haworthia venosa tessallata from sub-freezing temperatures – and in the summer months, you will be rewarded with tall stalk of white and green blooms.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.
Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
