Gasteraloe 'Green Gold'
DESCRIPTION
Embracing the best of both worlds, Gasteraloe 'Green Gold' is a captivating hybrid succulent that combines the resilience and architectural form of Gasteria with the lush, vibrant appeal of Aloe. Originating from the gardens of dedicated enthusiasts, this plant presents a dazzling display of deep green leaves adorned with bright gold variegation that seems to glow when caught in the light. The thick, succulent leaves are dotted with small white bumps, adding texture and interest to its already striking appearance.
Gasteraloe 'Green Gold' forms a compact rosette that can reach up to 8 inches in both height and width, making it an ideal choice for small spaces or as a standout addition to any succulent collection. Its size and shape lend it perfectly to being a centerpiece in terrariums, on windowsills, or as part of a mixed succulent container where it can truly shine amongst its peers.
While it may not bloom as readily as some of its succulent cousins, when Gasteraloe 'Green Gold' does decide to show off, it produces delicate, tubular flowers that range from soft orange to a deep coral, adding an unexpected pop of color to its already vibrant foliage. These blooms, emerging on tall, slender stalks, attract pollinators and add an extra layer of beauty to this already stunning plant.
Easy to care for and requiring minimal maintenance, Gasteraloe 'Green Gold' is a must-have for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts alike. Its ability to thrive on neglect, coupled with its slow-growing nature, makes it a perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of gold to their plant collection without the need for constant attention.
PLANT SIZING & APPEARANCE
Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
