Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor'
Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor' AKA Quadricolor Century Plant is a succulent native to Mexico with long, dark green leaves edged with yellow and pale green mid stripe. The yellow marginal stripes, highlighted by dark reddish teeth, flush red when grown in bright light to give the leaf four distinct colors...and the name 'Quadricolor.'
This agave forms a beautiful rosette shape that produces offsets rather easily. Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor' needs full/filtered bright light with ample airflow, thorough watering when soil is dry all the way through, and porous soil with adequate drainage.
Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor' blooms infrequently, so be sure to send us a photo if yours flowers!
