DESCRIPTION

Embracing the whimsical charm of its appearance, Senecio radicans 'Blue Pickle Vine' is a captivating succulent that hails from the arid landscapes of South Africa. Characterized by its cascading tendrils adorned with plump, cylindrical leaves, this succulent mimics the appearance of a beaded necklace, earning it the affectionate nickname 'Blue Pickle Vine'. The leaves exhibit a unique palette of blue-green hues, which can take on a more intense coloration when exposed to the bright, indirect sunlight it thrives in.

Growing with a vigor that belies its delicate looks, 'Blue Pickle Vine' can quickly reach lengths of several feet, making it an ideal choice for hanging baskets or as a dramatic 'spiller' in mixed succulent arrangements. Its trailing nature allows it to gracefully drape over the sides of containers, adding a touch of botanical elegance to any setting. Despite its exotic appearance, this succulent is remarkably easy to care for, requiring minimal water and thriving on neglect, much like its succulent kin.

In the warmer months, 'Blue Pickle Vine' may surprise you with small, daisy-like flowers, adding a burst of white and yellow to its already striking foliage. These blooms are not only a delight to the eyes but also attract a variety of pollinators, adding life and movement to your garden or home.

Whether displayed on its own or as part of a succulent collection, Senecio radicans 'Blue Pickle Vine' is sure to captivate and charm with its unique appearance and easy-going nature. Its versatility and low-maintenance requirements make it a perfect choice for both novice gardeners and seasoned plant enthusiasts alike.

PLANT SIZING & APPEARANCE

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
