A compact succulent shrublet reaching only 12 inches tall and wide, Kalanchoe millotii features a mass of oval leaves with sharply scalloped edges which, together with the plant’s furry texture and mint green coloration, creates a soft look sure to add a delicate touch to any home or garden.

Native to Madagascar, Kalanchoe millotii prefers bright and warm conditions, and will even blush to a rosy pink when amply ‘stressed’ by its light levels! Take care, however, when acclimating this variety to the harsh afternoon sunlight of southern or western-facing exposures, to avoid burning the tips of the fuzzy leaves. The remainder of this variety’s care requirements are straightforward – porous soil within a well-draining pot and ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface will help protect against rot, as will a thorough but infrequent watering routine. While Kalanchoe millotii prefers temperatures above 55 degrees, it absolutely cannot withstand freezing temperatures, so prepare accordingly if you live in a climate below Zone 10!

During the summer months, clusters of yellowish blooms will emerge above the leaves, adding yet another textural element to complement Haworthia millotii’s charming aesthetic.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
