Haworthia cuspidata 'Star Window Plant'

This show stopping variety forms rosettes that can reach several inches wide over time, as its incredibly thick, pointed leaves begin to reach their mature length. With a bright green base coloration, the uppermost part of each leaf features mottled ‘windowpanes’ that allow light to penetrate all the way down to the roots of the plant, allowing for more efficient photosynthesis even in dimmer environments! In brighter sunlight, however, the tips of each leaf will begin to blush a rosy coral pink, which contrasts exceptionally well with the lime green found on the remainder of the leaves.

Haworthia cuspidata’s tolerance for lower light, coupled with its ability to withstand prolonged periods of drought, makes it the ideal succulent for beginner indoor succulent growers. Adopting a thorough but infrequent watering routine, utilizing a porous soil mix within a well-draining pot, and ensuring ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface will have you well on your way to a rapidly offsetting, thriving succulent!

During the winter months, be sure to protect Haworthia cuspidata from freezing temperatures, and the warmer days of spring will make way for white blooms rising on stalks several inches above the rosette!

Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
