Forming petite rosettes of elongated leaves in a shimmery blue color palette, Pachyveria ‘Little Jewel’ adds incredible contrast to any succulent arrangement, especially when paired with deep green, red, or purple specimens! A thick layer of farina accounts for the iridescent appearance of the leaves – though care must be taken not to mar this coating with the oils from your fingerprints – and when supplied with ample light, the pointed tips of each leaf will flush to a rosy pink hue, creating yet another layer of dimension to enjoy from ‘Little Jewel.’ Most remarkable, however, is the gemstone-like faceting across the surfaces of each leaf, unseen in nearly any other succulent specimen!

Native to the arid landscapes of Mexico, ‘Little Jewel’ will form rosettes up to 5 inches wide – positioned atop a stem that will eventually reach over 12 inches in height, but which can be cut down and re-rooted for a more consistently compact look. Like most rosette-shaped succulents, this variety requires bright light for the most pleasing growth form, and prefers to dry out between waterings. As such, a thorough yet infrequent watering routine, coupled with a porous soil mixture within a well-draining pot, will go a long way towards a happy and healthy ‘Little Jewel.’

Hardy only to Zone 10, this specimen requires protection from the freezing elements during the winter months. In return, ‘Little Jewel’ will send up peach-colored blooms during the warmer days of spring and summer!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
