Sedum 'Salsa' is an eye-catching variety of the Sedum genus, known for its vibrant foliage and hardy nature. This particular cultivar stands out with its rich, ruby-red leaves that maintain their intense color throughout the growing season. The leaves are thick and fleshy, typical of succulents, and form a dense, low-growing mat. This groundcover sedum adds a splash of color to any garden setting, making it a favorite among gardeners looking to add a bold, yet easy-to-care-for plant to their landscape.
In addition to its striking foliage, Sedum 'Salsa' produces clusters of tiny, star-shaped flowers in the summer. These blooms are a soft pink to red hue, complementing the fiery red of the leaves. The flowers not only add to the plant's ornamental value but also attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, adding life and activity to the garden. Easy to grow, Sedum 'Salsa' thrives in well-draining soil and full to partial sunlight. It's drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping, rock gardens, or as a vibrant edge in mixed beds. Its low maintenance and spreading habit also make it ideal for covering large areas with a carpet of rich color.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
