With slender stems dotted with tiny, triangular leaves in a gentle green edged in buttery yellow, words like adorable and charming barely seem to suffice when describing C. ‘Petite Bicolor’. Forming a dense and draping mass of color and delicate texture, this variety looks right at home in hanging planters, where it will quickly engulf its pot with profuse and fast-growing stems, each of which reaches up to a few inches in length.

Bright light is the key to success with this plant not only ensuring compact, non-leggy growth, but also encouraging pink blushing along the leaf margins and displays of dainty, pink blooms during the spring and summer months. Hardy to Zone 8, this cultivar can also play a starring role in outdoor rock gardens, where its growth form makes it well suited to filling in crevices between stacked stones or pavers.

With its lighting requirements in place, its needs are simple – porous soil containing plenty of inorganic matter, such as perlite or pumice, within a well-draining pot will shield against issues such as rot, while a thorough yet infrequent watering routine will take care of the rest!

If you're not completely happy with your Leaf & Clay purchase, we'll do everything we can to make things right!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of Bulk Succulent Packs, House Plants, and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
