DESCRIPTION
Showcasing a vivacious blend of colors, Stromanthe 'Triostar' is a striking houseplant hailing from the Brazilian rainforests. Its leaves are a vibrant canvas of cream, pink, and green shades, all splashed together in a unique pattern that is as unpredictable as it is beautiful. What's more, the underside of each leaf is a gorgeous deep magenta, adding an unexpected pop of color when the leaves naturally curl up during the evening. When fully grown, this tropical beauty will reach a height of about 2-3 feet, and a similar spread in width, creating an impressive display of foliage. Stromanthe 'Triostar' grows in a clump form, making it a wonderful centerpiece plant for any indoor garden. In the wild, it grows beneath the forest canopy, making it well-adapted to low-light conditions. This makes it an excellent choice for brightening up those dim corners of your home that other plants might struggle in. Despite its exotic origins, Stromanthe 'Triostar' is a relatively easy plant to care for. It prefers a warm, humid environment and well-draining soil, much like its native rainforest. Be sure to water it regularly, but avoid letting it sit in water, as this can lead to root rot. Also, a little humidity goes a long way in keeping this plant happy - a regular misting will keep it looking its best. What truly sets the Stromanthe 'Triostar' apart, though, is its stunning leaf movement. During the day, the leaves spread out to catch as much light as possible, but come nightfall, they rise upwards, almost as if in prayer. This unique characteristic has earned it the nickname 'prayer plant'. Adding to the Stromanthe 'Triostar's' appeal are its charming white flowers. They're not a common sight, as the plant tends to put most of its energy into its magnificent leaves, but when they do appear, usually in late winter or early spring, they're a delightful bonus. All in all, the Stromanthe 'Triostar' is a stunning addition to any plant collection. Its vibrant foliage, unique leaf movement, and easy-care nature make it a joy to grow and a surefire conversation starter. Whether you're a seasoned houseplant collector or a beginner looking for something a little different, the Stromanthe 'Triostar' is sure to impress.
PLANT SIZING & APPEARANCE

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
