DESCRIPTION

Embodying the essence of minimalist elegance, Crassula orbicularis is a captivating succulent hailing from the rocky terrains of South Africa. This plant is a true marvel with its tightly packed, circular leaves that form a neat rosette, presenting a harmonious blend of deep green with subtle red edges when kissed by the sun. The leaves themselves are thick and fleshy, storing water to help the plant thrive even in the driest conditions.

Growing to a modest height and width of approximately 4 to 5 inches, Crassula orbicularis makes a perfect addition to any succulent collection, windowsill, or desktop garden. Its compact size and low maintenance requirements make it an ideal choice for both seasoned succulent lovers and novices alike. In its natural habitat, this plant prefers the cracks and crevices of rocks, which makes it particularly suited for rock gardens, terrariums, or as a charming ground cover.

Although it is a slow grower, the patience required is well rewarded. During the spring and early summer, Crassula orbicularis may surprise you with clusters of small, star-shaped, white flowers, adding a delightful contrast to its dense foliage. These blossoms not only enhance its beauty but also attract pollinators to your garden.

Whether displayed in a pot where it can elegantly overflow the edges or nestled among a rock garden, Crassula orbicularis brings a touch of serene beauty to any setting. Its resilience and understated charm make it a jewel among succulents, promising to be a topic of conversation and a source of joy for years to come.

PLANT SIZING & APPEARANCE

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
