GROWING INFO

• Climate: Zone 10+ (30F). Protect from frost and drought
• Where to Grow: Keep indoors with as much indirect sunlight as possible. Display on non-absorptive surfaces
• Watering: Either mist generously 3-7 times a week, drench under a faucet 2-4 times a week, or soak for 1-2 hours once a week
• Airflow: Shake excess water from crevice and give enough airflow for plant to dry within 4 hours
• Blooms: Each Air Plant can produce one large bloom after several years. Plants will eventually die after flowering
• Propagation: After blooming, Air Plants can produce offsets at their bases which can be pulled apart once they are 1/3 the size of the parent plant
• Color: Some Air Plants have artificially enhanced colors, others have naturally colorful leaf tips that flush brighter when given more sunlight

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
