Named after the wife of the famed succulent hybridizer who created it, Aloe ‘Minnie Belle’ provides the perfect pop of green to any home. The chubby, pointed leaves are accented by white speckling and dramatic white teeth along the margins, and the stacked growth pattern of the rosettes is especially eye-catching. Reaching up to 12 inches tall and wide, this variety makes a great ‘filler’ component in an arrangement, or can easily stand alone as an accent on a sunny countertop or windowsill.

Like all Aloe varieties, ‘Minnie Belle’ stores a great deal of water in her thick leaves, making it imperative to avoid overwatering. Follow the ‘soak and dry’ method, watering thoroughly only once the soil has had a chance to completely dry out, and be sure to use a porous soil mix and a well-draining pot. Bright light and ample airflow will help ward off rot while encouraging ample growth – and can even help the plant produce an annual display of rich red blooms, rising on spikes above the foliage, as well as distinct coppery blushing along the margins of each leaf!

Take care to protect this variety from frost during the winter months, as it is not cold hardy.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
