Crassula falcata 'Propeller Plant'

Hailing from South Africa, the silvery-gray, oblong leaves of Crassula falcata 'Propeller Plant' grow away from the center stem in opposing pairs, truly resembling the shape of a propeller. The leaves sport a velvety, fuzzy texture, and can reach several inches in length. When provided with the right growing conditions, ‘Propeller Plant’ will produce clusters of tiny red blooms during the summer months, which will fill the area with the scent of cinnamon!

Bright sunlight, porous soil within a well-draining pot, and thorough but infrequent watering are the keys to success with this unique variety. When in doubt, hold off on watering, as dampness can spell problems for ‘Propeller Plant’ – though ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface can help safeguard against this issue. During the chilly winter months, take care to protect the fleshy leaves from frost, which could permanently scar them.

Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
