DESCRIPTION

Introducing the subtly charming Sedum griseum, a delightful succulent hailing from the rocky slopes of China. This plant is a true testament to the beauty and resilience of succulents, featuring plump, silvery-gray leaves that form compact, low-growing rosettes. The foliage of Sedum griseum has a unique, powdery coating that not only contributes to its stunning visual appeal but also helps it conserve moisture, making it an excellent choice for drought-prone gardens.

Sedum griseum reaches a modest height and width of approximately 4 to 6 inches, making it an ideal selection for rock gardens, green roofs, or as a groundcover in xeriscaped areas. Despite its delicate appearance, this succulent is tough and hardy, capable of thriving in a range of challenging conditions. As the seasons change, you'll be delighted by the transformation in its foliage, as cooler temperatures bring out a gentle blush of pink, adding another layer of interest to this already captivating plant.

One of the most enchanting features of Sedum griseum is its bloom. In early to mid-summer, it sends up clusters of star-shaped, yellow flowers that stand in striking contrast to its silver-gray leaves. These blossoms not only add a burst of color to your garden but also attract a variety of pollinators, making it a valuable addition to any wildlife or pollinator-friendly garden space.

Whether planted in a container, where it can gracefully spill over the edges, or used as a unique accent in a succulent arrangement, Sedum griseum is sure to impress with its understated elegance and ease of care. This succulent is a must-have for enthusiasts and gardeners looking to add a touch of sophistication and resilience to their plant collections.

PLANT SIZING & APPEARANCE

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
