This variegated version of Echeveria ‘Decora’ includes all of the stunning elements of the original cultivar, with the addition of creamy margins and striations across its broad, rounded leaves.  Dusty hues of violet, blue, green, and pink allow this variegation to really pop, and make ‘Decora’ variegata a must-have addition to even the most established succulent collection. As this variety matures, the rosettes will begin to shift towards a more stalk-like growth form, making this plant an exceptional filler component within arrangements, or a great mid-height addition to temperate landscapes.

Bright sunlight is a non-negotiable in helping ‘Decora’ variegata realize its full potential, so be sure to place this variety in a sunny, southern or western-facing exposure. Beyond this need, it is crucial to note that overwatering is the biggest threat to this unique plant – though utilizing a porous soil mixture, a well-draining pot, and ensuring ample airflow will help to mitigate this risk. Embracing a thorough but infrequent watering routine, such as the ‘soak and dry’ method, will further cement your success with ‘Decora’ variegata.

During the cold winter months, take steps to protect this variety from freezing temperatures, which will cause permanent damage to the colorful leaves.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
