The thick, richly green leaves of C. rogersii sport a velvety-soft texture. Reaching a maximum height of only 6-8 inches, this hard to kill succulent is a great variety for those who do not consider themselves to be green thumbs, and makes for a charming addition to any home. Adding to the appeal is the fact that the leaf tips can blush pink with substantial sun exposure, contrasting nicely with the green hue on the remainder of the leaves.

While it can tolerate partially shaded conditions, it will put on the best growth and coloration in bright sun – making a southern or western facing windowsill an ideal location for this variety. Like many Crassula, overwatering is its biggest downfall, so take care to water thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry through before providing another drink. A porous soil mix, a well-draining pot, and ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface will take care of the rest! Hardy only to Zone 10, be sure to protect the plump leaves from freezing temperatures, to avoid scarring.

During the spring months, keep an eye out for white, gently fragranced bloom clusters.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
