Dense rosettes of elongated, bluish green leaves are what characterize Echeveria 'Mazarine'.  When exposed to the ‘stress’ of bright light or cooler temperatures, the pointed tips of this unique plant will blush pink, adding the perfect degree of contrast to its powdery leaves. To best preserve the delicate look of each leaf, care should be taken not to handle the upper side of the leaves with your fingers, as the oils from your hands will permanent mar the layer of farina that contributes to the plant’s shimmery look.

Like nearly all Echeveria, 'Mazarine's needs are simple but definitive – bright light will yield the best coloration and growth form, while thorough but infrequent watering will protect the plant against rot stemming from excess moisture. Great airflow around the leaves and soil surface, a porous soil mixture, and a pot with excellent drainage will take you the rest of the way towards a thriving succulent!

During the winter months, be sure to protect this tender plant from frost, which could cause permanent scarring to the fleshy leaves.

If you're not completely happy with your Leaf & Clay purchase, we'll do everything we can to make things right!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
