Replete with oval-shaped green leaves edged in creamy white, ‘Emerald Ice’ truly pops thanks to its remarkable geometric growth habit. The leaves of each rosette spiral out in a perfectly concentric, symmetrical pattern that stays largely flat from edge to edge. Poised atop a long stem up to 12 inches tall, this stunning variety can reach the same size in diameter – a real showstopper!

Like most Aeonium, ‘Emerald Ice’ prefers plenty of bright light, and infrequent but thorough watering. Take care not to pour the water directly into the rosette, where it can predispose the plant to rot. Ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface, as well as a porous soil mix in a well-draining pot, will both go a long way towards shielding the plant from rot and other ills, such as pests.

Going into dormancy during the heat of the summer, it is not uncommon for the leaves of this variety to begin to curl during this time, as a water conservation mechanism – do not worry, they will return to their flattened form as the weather cools and the plant’s growth cycle kicks back into gear.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
