Crassula rubricaulis 'Candy Cane' PPAF is a hybrid variety stemming from a rare mutation referred to as ‘chimera,’ in which a single plant possesses the cells and genetics of two or more individual varieties. This unique succulent features tricolor leaves in shades of cream, green, and pink. Bright sunlight will deepen the pink hue even further, making ‘Candy Cane’ an eye-catching addition to any succulent arrangement!

Very bright light is not only the key to this variety’s intense coloration, but will also ensure that it reaches it growth potential, maxing out at about 12 inches tall and wide. Water thoroughly but infrequently to avoid issues with ‘wet feet,’ and utilize a porous soil mixture within a well-draining pot. Ample airflow around the leaves and soil surface will further protect against issues with rot or pests, and protection from frost during the winter months will shield the fleshy leaves from damage.

As the plant begins to put on growth in the summer, expect to see star-shaped, white blooms rise above the foliage in clusters.

If you're not completely happy with your Leaf & Clay purchase, we'll do everything we can to make things right!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!

I love to shop here and highly recommend this company. I’ve learned a lot about different succulents and cacti and my garden is beautiful.

We received the packaged succulents and had a wonderful time going thru, finding what cool plants were hiding inside. We then transplanted them into two pots gave them a spritz of refreshing water and admired their beauty.

I really like finding plants that aren’t typically found in my local greenhouses. The plants themselves come so loved, well packaged and ready to be placed.
