Very fleshy, slightly tapered leaves showcasing a gradient of golden, green, and coppery orange color characterize Sedum ‘Golden Glow,’ lending the loose, clustered rosettes atop gracefully arching stems a brightness sure to contribute an element of contrast within any succulent arrangement. Reaching a maximum mature length of 12 inches, the stems of ‘Golden Glow’ make the perfect addition to hanging baskets, where they will begin to obscure and soften the edges of the pot as they grow and produce offsets.

In temperate climates above Zone 9, ‘Golden Glow’ can be similarly at home right within the landscapes, where it will form a spreading mound of color and texture that looks especially great alongside deeper green or red specimens. In chillier climates, however, it must be shielded from the damaging impacts of frost during the winter months, before sending out clusters of white blooms during the warmth of spring.

Though able to tolerate some afternoon shade, ‘Golden Glow’ will perform the best when provided with plenty of bright to full sunshine. Like many Sedum, it is typically known for its hardiness, asking only for a well-draining soil mix and pot, in conjunction with a thorough yet infrequent watering routine, to accommodate its drought-resistant nature and avoid the issues such as rot that can stem from excess moisture.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
