Introducing the remarkable Aloe 'Blue Elf', a hybrid succulent that combines the resilience and architectural form of its Aloe ancestors with a unique flair all its own. Native to South Africa, this compact beauty showcases slender, blue-green leaves that are gracefully edged with a soft pink to coral hue when exposed to the right amount of sunlight. Standing upright, 'Blue Elf' forms an attractive, dense clump reaching up to 18 inches in both height and spread, making it a perfect choice for small spaces needing a touch of vertical interest.

The leaves of 'Blue Elf' are not only visually striking but also practical, as they store water within, allowing the plant to thrive even in drier conditions. This adaptability makes it an ideal candidate for rock gardens, mixed succulent beds, or as a standalone specimen in a stylish pot. In late winter to early spring, the plant elevates its display with vibrant orange to red flowers that emerge on tall spikes, attracting hummingbirds and adding a burst of color to the garden when most plants are still waking from their winter slumber.

Despite its exotic appearance, Aloe 'Blue Elf' is remarkably easy to care for, requiring minimal maintenance. It prefers well-draining soil and full to partial sun exposure to develop its most vivid coloration. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a novice looking to add some drought-tolerant drama to your outdoor space, Aloe 'Blue Elf' is a stunning, low-maintenance choice that will captivate and impress year-round.

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
