An absolute stunner, Aloe ‘Snowstorm’ is characterized by thick, rigid leaves with a star-shaped growth pattern, each densely coated with white banding across a deep green background – giving the appearance of snow flurries dotting a verdant landscape. Freely offsetting, and readily flowering even indoors, this compact variety makes a highly unique addition to any succulent collection. Each rosette will reach a maximum size of only 6 inches tall and wide, so be sure to position ‘Snowstorm’ towards the front of a potted arrangement, for maximum impact.

Like most Aloe, this variety prefers bright light, and the green components of the leaves will even stress to a rich chocolate hue in direct sunlight. Ample airflow, porous soil, and a well-draining pot are all must-haves to protect Aloe ‘Snowstorm’ against root rot and other ills – and in the winter months, it is also necessary to shield the chubby leaves from frost to avoid scarring. Bearing in mind that Aloe store large quantities of water in their leaves, water thoroughly only once the soil has had a chance to completely dry from the last drink.

Flowers are a bright orange color, and are especially attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of House Plants and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
