The curving, twisting leaves of this variety make it appear just as its name suggests… 'Topsy Turvy'! The loose, low growing rosettes can reach up to 8 inches wide and feature shades of pale blue, faint green, and gray, made all the more intriguing by a thick layer of powdery farina – though care must be taken not to mar this coating with the oils from your fingerprints. With adequate care, ‘Topsy Turvy’ will produce offsets rapidly, creating a clumping growth habit that looks especially stunning in temperate rock gardens or container plantings.

Bright light will ensure that ‘Topsy Turvy’ reaches its full potential, both in color and in size, while ample airflow and porous soil with adequate drainage will protect the plant against ills such as rot or pests. Be sure to water thoroughly but infrequently, providing another drink only once the soil has had a chance to completely dry through.

During the winter months, take steps to protect these unique leaves from frost – and in the summertime, ‘Topsy Turvy’ will reward your efforts with displays of bright orange and pink blooms!

If you're not completely happy with your Leaf & Clay purchase, we'll do everything we can to make things right!

All plants are shipped bare-root with the exception of Bulk Succulent Packs, House Plants, and Plant Club Subscription Boxes. House plants and succulents will ship from separate locations and may arrive at different times. Orders ship Monday-Friday each week. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. We ship within the USA and its outlying territories ONLY. Read our full policy here.

Plant sizing is based on the diameter of the nursery pot (2", 2.5", 3", 4" etc), not the plant itself. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grow in depending on availability or time of year. While we do our best to ship plants as similar to those pictured as possible, please keep in mind that all plants are unique from one to the next, and display color, shape, and growth variation based on current environment, time of year, and other contributing factors. Please note that we ship our plants as dry as possible in the fall and winter months to prevent root rot or freezing. They will plump back up after planting!
